The Bachelor
Twas on TNT earlier this afternoon, I watched it. I think if it came down to it, and I was female, I would marry Chris O'Donnel for 100 million dollars. Entertaining movie. Very cute. Worth the time to watch it, if you've got nothing better to do.
The American President
On TNT now! I've seen it before, and I (my parents) own the DVD, so instead of dealing with pesky commercials and intermittent reception, I had some Vanilla Ice Cream, and grabbed the movie while I was downstairs. Its playing on Video 3 now. Good stuff. Very entertaining. Cute movie. Annette Benning. Frasier's Dad. Michael Douglas. Nina Van Horn from Just Shoot Me. Martin Sheen, the actual President on the West Wing. And, of course, Micheal J. Fox! Quite the cast. Good plot. If you haven't seen it; See it!
Bagel Cafe and my Grandmother
We decided on the Bagel Cafe, and met up at 10:30 in the am. I ordered a plain bagel untoasted with nova lox (smoked salmon for you gentiles). She ordered a plain bagel slightly toasted with smoked white fish. My bagel was slightly toasted, and so was hers. I was disappointed but didn't comment. I ordered a Dr Pepper, the waitress said they didn't have that. I stared back in disbelief and asked "Since when?" She stared back like I was a punkass. I was like, fine, Sprite? And she's like, Sierra Mist, I'm like fine, whatever. Kill my morning. On the up side, dude was the hostess a cutey! Mm mm!! I would have preferred to have her as my entree. Yum!
Dr Pepper and Restaurants
Whenever I go to a restaurant, and am asked what I'd like to drink, I always say "Dr Pepper." There is typically only one response, if they don't have it; "Root Beer?" I counter that with Sprite, and they either have that, or they offer me 7up, or Sierra Mist, and thats what I settle on. I refuse to drink the water in Las Vegas, because it comes from Lake Mead, and there are dead bodies dumped there, and people die there. I don't need that in my water. I want water in my water. No nutritional value. No health consequences. No color. And certainly no dead people!
