The History of Bob and Me
I was going into a rant about what I would do as a late night talk show host, but when I got to a main point, and chose Bob for an important part, I realized, nobody knows our history. I first met Bob in high school, Freshman or Sophomore year. We hit it off right away, I threw dirt at him, it landed on his head, and I even got some in his mouth. I've got good aim. Needless to say, he wasn't happy with that. But we got along, due to our mutual friends, and were basically acquaintances. We had some classes together, and grew to be friends, and then came junior year. I went through this phase, whenever I would see him in the halls, I'd walk up to him and slap him in the face to greet him. I can't say why. I honestly don't know, it just.. felt right. Ya know? He would slap me back, and it was cool. Really though, it wasn't, it used to piss him off bad. Its amazing that he took that shit from me. Who did I think I was? Damned if it wasn't funny though. And senior year we made it through Pre-Calc together. Ah, the days of MRV, who will soon be sent an invitation to read this blog at his whim, and you will be blessed with his words of the week definitions. I'm sure he'll spread the blog to his classes, and they'll like it, and spread it to their friends, and it will turn into an instant A-TECH hit! Wootah! Christ, I can't stay on one topic can I? Mikey called it, Mikey's history later. Bob and I barely made it through Pre-Calc together, and we grew to become closer friends, even through my deadly serious threat of him leaving me at lunch, I would sprint back to school, and walk calmly into class, and up to him, and break his nose. I was serious about that, I totally would have. Moving along, we're still good friends today, and have grown even closer now that we don't see each other on a daily basis, especially not in a classroom environment. However we chat daily on-line, and he has the Crazy World of Bob (linked at the upper left of this page), which inspired me (via jealousy) to start my own page. Welcome! Bob and I have been through hell and high water... well, mostly Bob, cuz I used to be a real dick. Wow! But we're close now, and I'd classify him as one of my best friends. And he sucks at gin! I beat him 9 games in a row earlier today, 300 unanswered points in a row. How pitiful. I'm the master at changing the subject, and thats Bob in a nutshell. Or something.
