Last Night
My mother had the audacity and rudeness to inform me that I'm not doing enough reading. Not that I just finished a 914 page book 2 weeks ago, and began reading the book that follows it in the series, ty Tom Clancy. But, no, MY leisure reading is unsatisfactory. So, I'm told I should try reading this book called "Right Words at the Right Time" by Marlo Thomas and Friends. Its a compilation of stories of famous people telling of their right words. For instance Mohammad Ali, sharing about his teacher that told him he "wasn't never gonna be nothin." Or, someone telling Walter Kronkite (or Tom Brokaw.. one of the old news anchor guys..) to drop out of school, and get the wine, women, and wildness out of his system before returning. Interesting stuff. 381 pages long. Back to my story. My mother gave me this book, I'm pretty sure she wasn't expecting me to pick it up for at least a week, let alone read the whole thing cover to cover last night. So, for the shock value, I read it from 2am (when I went to bed, I thought it was 1am, ty stupid comp not accounting for daylight savings, wtf?!) until 9:20am. At 9:20, I decided it was better to just get up and get ready for work then get 40 minutes sleep. So, up I got, and awake I've been for the last 28 hours! Whee!

For Brad..
In reading the book mentioned above, I came across Laura Bush's (Dubbya's Wife) posting dealy. I read a full one third of it, before realizing she had said Midland, TX about 4 times. I turned the page, and was like, WAIT A MINUTE! Dude, did you know Laura Bush was brought up in the same place you live? Doesn't that make you feel better about living there? Hmm, come to think of it, that wouldn't make me feel any better. Sorry I brought it up, nevermind!

If you're looking for some sort of inspiration, or something. I highly advise going to your local library and checking out, or going to your local bookstore, and sitting down in a comfy chair, a la Brad, and reading, "Right Words at the Right Time" by Marlo Thomas and Friends
