A rumination on the Men In Black.

The thought of the secret society of the Men in Black is an interesting thought. I'm okay with people I don't know protecting me, but if the movie portrayals of this society are any reflection on the real agency. I am deeply disappointed. Sure, mine and everybody else's ass has been repeatedly saved by them repeatedly. But, I find it deeply disturbing that the only people that were capable of foiling the evil villain in either of the movies, were two agents working together. Only two, of this whole agency were able to save our sorry human asses. Agents J and K, sure they do one helluva job, but they're making the rest of the agency look bad. I don't think it would've been good to save face if they hadn't done it, showing they were as average as the rest of their co-workers, but damn, those co-workers suck. They couldn't foil the evil medusa lady? Why couldn't they do it? Frank was doing a damned good job, he's an alien dog-looking thing. Cool. - But the other Agents, A-Z, couldn't foil this lady by themselves, all alone in MIB HQ and they had to let J and K save them. Talk about a bunch of freeloders. I'm thoroughly disappointed in them as an agency.
