Well, I was proven wrong, Bob at his web journal became the first officially non-copy and paste, yada yada link from my journal. He has a weblog. I have a journal. No I'm not competitve... ok, just a little, MORE THAN YOU! ... what in the world... I'm debating whether or not I should expose my free speech by using words that are "repulsive, low brow, demeaning, and/or profane"... I haven't decided yet, but if I should make my decision, which all who know me know what it most likely will be, we'll all be seeing an increase of four-letter words in my updating vocabulary.
Meanwhile, I attempt again to bring you to CollegeHumor.com, my new and favorite website. I feel the need to suggest "Ruminations" by Aaron Karo, and "Observational Humor" by Steve.. something ... I also give them props for compiling books of their writings. Meanwhile, I gotta also say thats the first time I used the word "props" in the past 4 years, let alone, quite possibly, in the proper manner!
Caught Minority Report yesterday with Bob, we both enjoyed it thoroughly. Again, I caught myself as the only one in the theater laughing at something, that most likely wasn't even all that funny. The movie made me JUMP out of my seat twice! Not many movies can do that, and it really wasn't scary, but it just shocked me out of my seat. I highly advise you seeing it. And I must agree with Peter, that Spielberg was giving a Kubrick-esque directorial thingy. Good movie. I give it an 8 out of 10. I grade hard. You don't want me as your teacher. What can I say?
Caught Men in Black II (MiiB) on Wednesday with Brandon, aka Golfer, my soon-to-be-rival at Colorado State University. We caught the movie, and ran into Gary, who tried to sell me tickets to Second Skin, a male porno, I had no interest in seeing. Meanwhile, I enjoyed the movie thoroughly, even though it was supposedly short, it was a good time. Movies are supposed to be that, after all. I found myself laughing, while the rest of the theater was dead silent twice, this time. Its awkward, but I don't give a fuck, if I'm gonna laugh at something funny, regardless of whether you think its funny or not. I'm gonna laugh. Booyah! 6 out of 10 for it.
Also during the week, I was very worried about my friend Brad, over in Midland, TX, who I thought may have been affected by the area's massive-ass flooding. Sent him an e-mail, come to find out that he was at "the lake" with his family. Same difference as being evacuated I say.
And thats all I've got to say about that. (aka, another update as fast as I finish spewing one out)
