Good Weekend

In stark contrast to last weekend, yesterday was a good day, and today looks promising, despite my current physical ailments.
Friday started badly, I woke up late, and barely made it to class on time, did classes, ate a rushed lunch, went to work and sat for 3.5 hours. After that I rushed back to my room, changed and went and played racquetball with my neighbor. Two hours of racquetball, 4 games, we split them, 2 a piece. My legs, shoulders, arms, chest, knees, shins, and ass ache, and have ached since Saturday morning.
Yesterday, I slept late, skipped breakfast (dorm brunch), and went to Johnny English with a friend (will get to that in a few). After that, I had Taco Bell for lunch which was okay... we ran some errands, and then went to Wendy's for a large frostie, mmmm Frostie. Perfect in the heat that we were dealing with yesterday. More errands, and some shopping at Safeway. We were looking at beverages, and I was intrigued looking at the Canada Dry Ginger Ale, which I do so enjoy. One liter was priced at $1.45, which is just too much for just one liter. And I was looking to compare it to two liters of soda, but I came across a two liter bottle of the same Ginger Ale. And I was shocked, shocked I say, to discover the price of the 2 liters of GA to be $1.39. Yes, double the amount for 6 cents less. Pricing error? Nope. It was there clear as day. Go figure. I now have 1.6 liters (drank some last night). Went to a party for Grad students later in the evening, I was out of place, but I do well in a social environment so it wasn't too bad. Came back, played UT2003 til 12:30am, surfed the net, and watched tv til 2:45am.
Today, I woke up at 11:11 to a phone call confirming that I am going to play tennis this afternoon with someone from a neighboring dorm. It should be interesting, especially since I'm all achey. I have some studying to do later for a test on Tuesday, and I think I'll take it easy, but good easy instead of dull easy this afternoon.
Johnny English- If you like Mr. Bean (aka Rowan Atkinson) and go expecting to see him being his normal zany self, you will have a good time. If you expect anything more, you will be sorely disappointed. It was a cute-funny movie, though very dumb. Thank goodness for Boughf (Ben Miller), and John Malkovich's performance was entertaining as well. Decent if you like Rowan Atkinson.

Anybody ever notice how summaries of time periods suck literarily compared to original thought provoking topics, or stories to be told? C'est la vie. Life isn't all that entertaining the majority of the time.
Watching Dogma as this is written. I do so enjoy it, I recommend it if you've not seen it, it's entertaining, and can get you thinking.
