Bad Day

It's official, the first bad day of this year was today, February 9th. It started off on such a great foot, but after having a mishap at the dining hall, and feeling absolutely uncomfortable in public, I'm calling it a bad day. It's sad really, but it happens every now and then. Hopefully I will be able to console myself with Ben and Jerry, and be able to keep myself couped up in my room for the duration of the evening. I have higher hopes for tomorrow, and on a good night's sleep, I aspire to fulfill them.
Of course, now I'm looking back fondly on the great day I had earlier this year, and thinking this is one of those things that makes a day like that so great. Without the bad, you can't recognize the good, and while I do appreciate it, I don't very much care for it at the moment. - In English this time: (your choice) That's life / Such is life / (or the classic) C'est la vie.
