Well, I've spent the last 90 minutes getting stuff situated so that come this Fall I can apply for an IntraUniversity Transfer to the Business (B-) School, and be certain that my admission will be accepted. I talked at length with an advisor at the B-School about what my options were, as long as I did X, Y, and Z, I would be guaranteed to get in.
X would be maintaining a 3.0 GPA, for that to happen I would need to do bad enough that my parents would not be willing to pay for college - so falling below a 3.0 is moot anyway.
Y would be completing a Math Mods class, basically Calculus. If you'll recall, Math Mods was something I complained about at the end of last semester - where you basically studied on your own time, at your own pace, and went in on certain days, at certain times, and took as many quizzes as you wanted. It sucked, but it won't be a problem.
Z is the fun part. Z is completing MicroEconomics, ECON2010. The problem lies herein. I took MicroEcon at UCLA 3 Summers ago. Unfortunately, when I enrolled at CU, the credits were listed as ECON1, which is what UCLA calls it. So, naturally, CU gives me credit for ECON1000, which is what they call Principles of Economics - a compilation of Micro (ECON2010) and Macro (ECONO2020). The problem is, the B-School wants 2010 and 2020, not 1000. So, I went over to the College of Arts & Sciences and filed an appeal to get things straightened out. I will know in 3-5 weeks. Of course, what that really means is it will sit in someone's in box for 3 weeks, be discovered, and everything regarding it will be done in 36 hours. And then it will get stuck in on-campus mail for 5 more days, and arrive around 4 weeks after it was filed. Heart bureaucracy.

Of course, the funny part is, I've devoted this afternoon and evening to writing a paper (due tomorrow) and studying for an exam (taking it on Wednesday), and my first two hours have been devoted to the above. If I didn't go to bed at one in the morning, this could prove to be a problem.
I took some Nyquil last night before I went to bed - I've had a scratchy throat lately, coupled with the Spring cough that never seems to vanish, and I wanted to take preventive measures - although I think it might be because my room is just too damn cold at night, because I opened the window too far. I changed that this morning, we'll see how I feel tomorrow. I took the Nyquil at 11:30pm, and was out by midnight. Unfortunately, I woke up at 2:15am needing very badly to use the facilities. That done, I returned to the warmth of my bed at 2:17am my thoughts returning to slumber. Unfortunately, I spent the next 5 hours and 42 minutes, in deep thought, asleep and awake. Disturbing. I was thinking about stuff, and then I was asleep thinking about stuff. By no means am I talking about quality sleep here people. The sleep I got last night sucked. But I sure did get a lot of it - compared to normal. C'est la vie. Tonight I will try unaided sleep like I did over the weekend.
My paper beckons.
