Go Check the Boards...

Go check the boards. It is a totally neglected portion of this website, check the boards, omgosh, check the boards, check the boards.
In other news, I want sleep. But showers are helpful to the staying-up process, as is eating, blissful food. Mmm.
Dorky though it may be, I still wear a retainer (well, two, top and bottom), due to the fact I want straight teeth. At this point, it is more of a mission than anything, something that I have no doubt will be accomplished barring something catastrophic happening to me before the goal is reached (though technically, my teeth are straight-enough without the retainers, they don't stay that way over prolonged periods of time without said retainers). This all being said, about as long as I've had them, I've worn them every night (usually putting them in before I go to sleep). Over Thanksgiving break, I managed to leave them at my sister's house in California, and went almost two weeks without wearing them at all. My teeth shifted ever-so slightly; every one of them in a different direction. I have my retainers back now, and have been wearing them 24/7 (to make up for lost time) save eating. I think I have a cavity, or a loose filling or something, one of my molars hurts whether I have my retainer in or not...glad I'm seeing the dentist (what?!) within the next few weeks. My teeth will be straight, oh yes, they will.
In other news, I've gone to the rec center on consecutive days, hopefully a glimpse of days to come. I have high hopes for Spring Semester (to go along with an absolutely grueling schedule (imagine a 9:30-5 Tues/Thur schedule, and a 9:30-6 Wed/Fri schedule, with a total, between all four days of a 3 hour break.. not counting 30 minutes for lunch. Mondays are 9:30-2) The classes are half-average, half-megatough. Basically, a couple upper-lower division classes, with some hyper-intensive lower-upper-division classes (namely Critical Thinking and Writing-which as I understand it are just gonna be a megabitch, but I'm looking forward to the challenge)... and a foreign language.. we'll see how that ends up. 17 credits + a 12 hour work week = Fun Semester. I'm actually kind of excited about the challenge it should present, and seriously excited about taking Film Studies and a professor (different class) I've wanted to take since my first visit to campus. This paragraph is actually about how I'm hoping to work in daily trips to the rec center, based on the bitch-ass schedule, along with trips to the B-School Library every night before or after the rec center trip. I'mma buff up my brain, and my mus-kulls.. if I can will myself to keep up. Of course, this all means I can't go to bed later than 1am on a regular basis, or it will destroy me.
Something like... "Live in Moderation, Die in Excess." I just googled it, but didn't find the exact quote (just various things about moderation and fitness), does that mean I just made my own quotable quote?! What do you think? (History says no, but... "the standard must be maintained!!" (something else I may or may not have coined, I couldn't find it quoted on google in that order, or on imdb.com (I heart quoting movies and tv shows I watch-especially when my friends know what the hell I'm talking about) - Anyway, have you ever heard either of those "quotes" before?
Also, check out the "What are you doing for..." link under Humor... it's freakin' awesome!!
