Joke of the day: Stolen from my friend Sami; A Rabbi was standing in front of his Hebrew class and asked them the question. "The Jews have been together as a people for 5,764 years, while the Chinese have only been together as a people for 4,697 years. Now what does that mean to you, he asked the class." After a few moments a hand went up. "Yes David," the Rabbi said. With that, David got up and said, "That means the Jewish people didn't have Chinese food for 1,067 years."
In other news, yet another day where I failed to do anything meaningful. And it will be capped off with my ass sitting on my bed as though it were a couch taking in "The Hebrew Hammer" on Comedy Central, followed by a little South Park. After that, I'll probably accomplish a lot more nothing.
At dinner this evening, some girls were discussing their schedules for next semester, and I couldn't help but eavesdrop (who am I kidding?) and this girl was taking 14 credits, and remarking how tough it's going to be. This semester I took 17, next semester I'm taking 17, I took 12 over summer, I took 17 in the spring, and I took 15 my first semester just to gauge how tough it would be. Christ, 14 is barely more than being a full time student (12).
Also at dinner, prior to my arrival there had been a food fight. A food fight, and I missed it, how could it happen?! It was pretty bad too, string-like foods were strewn across the floor, along with at least one personal pan pizza, a chicken breast, and various other unidentifiable foods. It was cause for moderate debate between my roommate and I over how something like that starts, how it progressed, and what we would've done in a similar situation. I would be willing to bet, I actually would rather not have been there to be a victim of the skirmish. - I also felt bad for the staff of the cafeteria because they had to clean up the mess.
Went to the rec center last night, and lost slightly under 2 pounds (173.9 -> 172). Go figure.
6 days to Finals.
