What's the deal?

So, I've been increasing the frequency with which I go to the rec center the past few weeks. And the first thing I do after changing is weigh myself, the last thing I do before changing back is weigh myself.
These days I am in the 165-173 range.
I have gone in, started at 170, and left at 165.
I have gone in, started at 173, and left at 171.
I have gone in, started at 167, and left at 170.
I find this terribly confusing.
What's the deal?
Is that water weight? - Sweat and Drinking Water or what? Where does that weight come from? What's the deal?!

In other news, today was an okay day.. Although I'm pissed I haven't been getting e-mails about my Marketing Club meetings. I went tonight, but there was no meeting, so I was a little annoyed.
Either my clock is about 2 minutes faster than I suspected or I am walking faster. I don't know, but I seem to be getting around campus a bit faster -- I get to class earlier, but I leave at the same "time" as I always have... It must be those trips to the rec center. Go figure!
As noted in the daily poll, I finished my holiday shopping, and it was quite pricey. At least I know I got some cool stuff this year. Nikon Coolpix 3100 (digital camera), a memory card, a carrying case, extra batteries and a recharger. Not asking for any gifts for the last five years has paid off in full with interest! Also, Indiana Jones the Collection (Widescreen DVD).
Finals are two weeks out. I have a joke of a schedule, as I have had all semester. I imagine I will be spending most of Finals week at work, because it beats sitting on my ass watching Comedy Central, VH1 or staring at various websites to see if anything is ever going to happen.
I'm a Lakers fan, right? So, naturally, I want to watch Lakers' games when they're on national television. There was a game on tonight, on TNT... which is a channel I'm supposed to get, and have got for the last 17 months. Wonderful news, about 3 weeks ago, the channel TNT was on, transformed, literally overnight into the NASA channel, which while it is a cool channel that I do occasionally watch, they don't show %#%$ing Laker's games! I re-autoprogrammed my channels today to make sure it hadn't moved somewhere else. I got three "new" channels (previously the only way to get to them was by manually typing in the numbers and pressing enter) -- Fox News Channel, Random Campus Channel and C-Span2 (which is now on two channels ... I'll fix that later) but no bloomin' TNT. *sigh* I've managed to catch 4 games this season, and for half of those, I was in California.
Busy Busy.
See ya on the flipside!
